Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Current status — April 2026

As of April 2026, Seasoned RV has no active affiliate partnerships. Our articles and calculator results may mention specific products and brands — those are editorial recommendations based on research, not paid placements. When we reference a product, we do so because it fits the research context, not because any merchant compensates us for doing so.

We are in the process of applying to a small number of affiliate programs to help fund the site’s research-first editorial approach. When any program becomes active, we will update this page and mark relevant product links clearly.

Pending applications

  • Amazon Associates — applied; awaiting merchant approval
  • Impact Radius (affiliate network) — applied; under review

Until these are approved, no article, calculator, or tool on Seasoned RV uses Amazon tracking links or Impact tracking links.

Planned applications (not yet submitted)

We plan to apply to additional programs in Q2 2026 once Seasoned RV has a published-article baseline and traffic profile the merchants evaluate against:

  • ShareASale (network) and CJ Affiliate (network)
  • Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome (membership programs)
  • Outdoorsy and RVshare (peer-to-peer RV rentals)
  • Roamly, Progressive RV, Good Sam (RV insurance + memberships)
  • Direct manufacturer programs where available (Renogy, BougeRV, Battle Born, Winegard, Dometic, etc.)

Each of these is a plan, not a current relationship. We will only describe ourselves as an affiliate of a specific program after the merchant has approved our application and we have a signed affiliate agreement in place.

Our editorial independence commitment

These principles apply regardless of affiliate-program status:

  • We research and decide our recommendations before checking merchant availability or commission rates — never the reverse.
  • Every RV rig, product, or service we recommend is based on research, specifications, owner reports, and market analysis, not on which merchant pays the highest commission.
  • We do not accept payment in exchange for review placement in our “best of” lists, comparison matrices, or calculator outputs.
  • We do not accept sponsored content disguised as editorial.
  • We do not accept free RVs or vehicles from manufacturers in exchange for favorable coverage.
  • When we recommend a specific product and have not ourselves tested it, we say so. When we have tested it, we say so and describe how.

How we’ll mark affiliate links once approved

When an affiliate program becomes active, links to that merchant’s products will be clearly marked with:

  • A data-affiliate-program attribute in the link HTML
  • An inline disclosure where the link appears (for material-connection claims)
  • A block-level disclosure near the top of any article that contains approved-program links

FTC compliance

This page exists to satisfy U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising (16 CFR Part 255). FTC rules require disclosure of material connections between a publisher and a merchant. Because Seasoned RV currently has zero active affiliate programs, we have no material connections to disclose at this time. This page documents that state honestly and will be updated as our program status changes.
