Privacy policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

Seasoned RV (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a property of Seasoned Media, operated by 639 Media One LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit seasonedrv.com and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

We collect three categories of information:

  • Information you give us directly: your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us; any other information you voluntarily include in a contact form submission.
  • Calculator and quiz data: the inputs you choose in our RV Cost Calculator, Class A vs Class C Quiz, or any other tool. These are processed in your browser; we do not store them on our servers unless you submit an email alongside them for a PDF report.
  • Automatic technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring site, and timestamps. This is collected via our hosting provider and analytics tools.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the newsletter you subscribed to
  • Send your personalized calculator or quiz reports when requested
  • Respond to contact form inquiries
  • Understand how our site is used so we can improve it
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent email lists to third parties. We do not use your data to train machine-learning models.

3. Third-party services we use

Our site relies on the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

  • Vercel — web hosting and edge infrastructure
  • Sanity — content management system
  • Beehiiv (when active) — newsletter delivery
  • Google Analytics (when active) — aggregate usage analytics
  • Affiliate networks — when you click certain outbound links we mark as affiliate (Amazon Associates, CJ Affiliate, ShareASale, Impact, Travelpayouts, direct-brand programs), those services may set their own tracking cookies to credit us if you complete a purchase

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: essential site functionality (for example, remembering your calculator state across sessions); analytics (aggregated usage patterns); and affiliate attribution (crediting our site when you make a purchase through one of our affiliate links).

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Essential cookies are required for core site features; disabling them may degrade your experience.

4a. Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve content and tools. Google Analytics places cookies in your browser and collects the following categories of data:

  • Anonymized page views, session duration, and scroll depth
  • General geographic region (country and state — never a precise location)
  • Device type, browser type, and operating system
  • How you arrived at our site (referrer URL, search query category)
  • Interaction events we explicitly log (calculator usage, tool completion, newsletter signups, affiliate link clicks)

What we do NOT collect through Google Analytics: your name, email address, phone number, exact IP address, or any personally identifying details. We configure Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled and Google’s Consent Mode v2 defaults, which deny advertising and personalization signals unless you explicitly grant them.

Data retention: Google Analytics event data is retained for 2 months for user-level data and 14 months for aggregated event data, per our property settings. Retention periods can be reviewed or changed on request.

How to opt out:

  • Enable Do Not Track (DNT) in your browser. We honor the DNT header — when DNT is set, we send no analytics events regardless of cookie settings.
  • Install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on which blocks all Google Analytics data collection in your browser.
  • Block cookies for the googletagmanager.comdomain in your browser’s cookie settings.

5. Your rights

If you are in California, the EU, the UK, or another region with personal-data rights legislation, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your personal data
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format
  • Opt-out — unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time (unsubscribe link in every email)
  • Do Not Sell — California residents may request we not sell or share personal information. We do not sell data regardless, but you can make this request in writing.

To exercise any of these rights, email 639mediaone@gmail.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We respond to all requests within 30 days.

6. Data retention

We retain newsletter-subscription data until you unsubscribe. We retain contact-form submissions for up to 24 months for reference. Calculator and quiz input data is not stored on our servers unless you explicitly email a report to yourself, in which case it’s retained only until the PDF is delivered.

7. Children’s privacy

Seasoned RV is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change, when new features are added, or when legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced via the newsletter.
